libespeak1 software package provides Multi-lingual software speech synthesizer: shared library, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libespeak1
libespeak1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libespeak1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libespeak1 *
You will get with libespeak1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
